Yesterday’s top fan results

The current overall Beat the Streak leader went with yesterday’s most popular pick, and it paid off — albeit at the 11th hour, as Manny went hitless in his first four at-bats before collecting a single on a sharp grounder to left in Boston’s final at-bat in the bottom of the eighth.

Meanwhile, two fans extended their streak to 29 games thanks to the efforts of Michael Young (1-for-4) and Albert Pujols (3-for-5).

Do you know if MLB will be starting an official MLB Beat the Streak: Home Run Edition blog, similar to this one, at any point?

Also, will this blog be updated every day?

Finally, do you know when the MLB.com Survivor contest plans to start, since the 2007 page said it would be starting again in March and yet it is May 20 and still says “Coming Soon.”???

    Some answers:

    1) We have yet to determine whether we’ll be starting a Home Run Beat the Streak blog.

    2) The BTS Report will be updated every weekday for now, but Friday?s blog will include picks for the entire weekend.

    3) MLB.com Survivor is scheduled to launch June 2.
