Weekend results

First-place competitor bassman survived his first ever weekend as BTS leader and took a few steps closer to the elusive 57-game mark. The leader stretched his streak to 33 games on Sunday when Chipper Jones laced a first-inning single off Brandon Webb to complete a 1-for-3 performance.

choneBTS.jpgFifth-place fan jpsteeleaz69 made his way onto the leaderboard after user taswanso was unable to last through the weekend. The Top 5 caboose-rider extended his streak to 27 games after Placido Polanco scratched out a 1-for-5 effort against Greg Smith and the Athletics.

Top 5 competitors eduneversaydie and vidrohater both kept pace with the leader over the weekend, using timely hits from Lance Berkman (1-for-3) and Chone Figgins (2-for-5) on Sunday. Fourth-place fan cali_kid kept his place in the Top 5 but lost a game on the leader after his pick, Orlando Hudson, did not play on Sunday due to a wrist injury.
