Yesterday’s results
Thursday brought an end to the 33-game streaks of two of the three BTS leaders, as famillehlg and justinleslie were thwarted by hitless efforts from Hunter Pence and Hanley Ramirez. That left an opening for wildtanners to claim the top spot at 34 games with a 1-for-4 night from Chase Utley.
New second-place holder gregnewprague extended his run to 33 games with a 2-for-5 performance from Carl Crawford. Three more contestants — adamcpar, richdempc and wolfenstein35 — head into the weekend with 30-game streaks.

If for any reason a player you select does not play during the Game Day for which you selected him, your streak will NOT end.
Why is my streak over and restarted at 1 according to the leader board when Matt Stairs didnt play yesterday according to the rules copied and pasted directly from the rules on the website, my streak should pick up where it left off Friday, not start over.
Am I missing something?
Stairs did pinch hit yesterday. He went 0-1.
Tommorow is going to be tough; only 2 games. Lots of streaks could be lost tommorow if it turns out to be 2 pitcher duels
Hey jagx,
If you got a 30+ game streak there is no way you pick a regular batter for Monday. There are a few players that 99.9% will not play (Rivera, Gimenez, Whiteside….). By picking any of them your streak remains as is.
