Yesterday’s results
A hitless performance from Albert Pujols ended two of the BTS field’s three longest streaks on Wednesday, but Prince Albert came through for the front-runners yesterday.
Thanks to Pujols’ two hits, ryancaraher pushed his BTS-leading streak to 29 games, sportsboom and wfahey kept pace one game behind and Mattie21H held onto fifth place, at 27 games.
Co-second-place holder rook3256 was the only contestant in the Top 5 to go with a different player, and Carl Crawford’s 1-for-4 effort was just enough to keep him in the running with the rest of the Pujols pack.
Yesterday’s Top 5 most selected players
1. Chase Utley (PHI): 11.7%, 2-for-5
2. Ichiro Suzuki (SEA): 11.5%, 3-for-4
3. Albert Pujols (STL): 9.2%, 2-for-5
4. Hanley Ramirez (FLA): 5.9%, 1-for-1
5. Jacoby Ellsbury (BOS): 4.0%, 0-for-4
This weekend I’m going with Rafael Furcal and Matt Kemp.
* Los Angeles Dodgers (2nd hottest hitting team with 75 hits in the past seven days)
* Milwaukee Brewers (3rd worst pitching staff with 272 hits in the past seven days)
* Rafael Furcal 13 hits past seven days
* Matt Kemp 12 hits past seven days
Don’t forget Cubs & Cards play 2 Sunday.
Whoever you pick from those teams has to come thru twice.
I have been playing exclusively by cell phone out of necessity. The last few days, the Homer streak and win streak games have been working, but the hit game doesn’t allow me to select players. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Goin into the break on a nice little 9-game streak, can’t wait till Thursday to get rollin again!!
Well lets hope you didnt Take Furcal or Kemp yesterday.. 0 for 7…. Yes its weird not having baseball… BTS is probably the best fantasy game out there in my opinion anyways… ive been playing for 7 years.. and each year my longest streak gets longer.. this year I got to 26.. last year I had a 25… i gots a 10 gamer right now so i hope this is the one!
