Possible DNP for today per rotoworld.com
Ian Kinsler(TEX) suspension*, Cameron Maybin(FLA) flu, Chris Iannetta(COL) calf, J.D. Drew(BOS) day-day ankle, Nick Swisher(NYY) knee maybe out a week, Julio Lugo(BAL) MRI, Jorge Posada(NYY) day off, Starlin Castro(CHC) hip.
(*)=suspension may start today, may not
Be sure to followup on latest changes by checking rotoworld yourself 30-50 minutes before gameday locks

@lavolpe Albert Pujols is OUT!
@5:20 PM ET

@yanksgiantsdevils33: Thanx. Just got home & verified & expected that as I mentioned last night.
Looks like Holliday is my pick o’day. Expect STL to rack up some hits, Holliday hit in 9 of last 10 games, 5 were multi-hit games, is hot right now & may actually move up in the lineup tonight (guessing). Don’t see CHC pitching around him unless late in the game, score in jeopardy
Other lineup changes
Ian Kinsler(TEX) in while appealing suspension, Rickie Weeks(MIL) day off, Brett Gardner(NYY) wrist day-day. 60 mins to go before lock-out. Be sure to revisit rotoworld 1 more time before then.

If I were still playing Survivor, would strongly consider TB to win over NYY, especially if all those players listed in previous posts are actually out of the lineup.

Anyone want to bet Ian Kinsler drops 1-day suspension appeal sometime during Fri-Sun? They’re playing SEA & won’t need his bat as badly than it is needed vs. DET

Nyger Morgan update thanks to TMZ.com
What no suspension yet?
Nyger brought flowers and spent the day visiting Mrs. Emma Watson, mother of MLB Dean of Discipline, Bob Watson at an Atlanta senior citizens home. Later in the afternoon he lunched with HOF member Henry Aaron’s
Aunt Sarah.

Looks to be an upset Tuesday. Many favored teams are losing & could wipe out most of Survivor leaders & trim some of the remaining BTS 10K runners.

Hey Lav. I have a strategy that seems to be working in Survivor. I had Cleveland today and Baltimore last night and they both won. My new strategy has been flawless out of the potential teams I could of had and all the teams I did pick. Every time I lost a streak I should of picked a team that who I had to win but didn’t pick them.

And, for the heck of it, without going into almost infinite details, I have dubbed Nelson Cruz a Silver Bullet Lock of Multiple Lifetimes for tomorrow (Tuesday). Pick him.
?Professor Pete
Professor Pete -Thanks for the usual good advice. Your “Silver Bullet Lock of Multiple Lifetimes” comes through again. Cruz singled in the 7th inning.
Cubs beat Cards for 2nd day in a row. Can’t believe how bad the Cards are playing. Can the Cubs beat Carpenter in St. Louis on Wed?

A die-hard Cubbie, I waffled between Holliday & Rasmus today. STL got 6 hits & 3 of them by those 2. Randy Wells felt sorry for me & grooved one for Holliday.
Tomorrow’s pick: D.Wright. Expecting another offensive day & Wright kills lefties & good numbers @ home/night games. He’s slumping a bit this month, but were looking at a sub-par pitcher. Bad numbers vs pitcher are from previous years, not faced each other this year yet. If I’m right with Wright, move to double digits with my new strategy.

Vinny – Your strategy of picking secondary games in Survivor is solid. I had Houston on Monday because Meyers was pitching and naturally he won. So on Tues. I go with the obvious, Cards and Wainwright over Cubs and Cubs beat Cards 7-2. “Seeing what isn’t visible” and choosing accrodingly is the way to do well in Survivor. I made 100 wins in Survivor for the year yesterday!

Cubs beat Cards for 2nd day in a row. Can’t believe how bad the Cards are playing.
Cubs fans have at least 2 things to feel good about this year: another season series win vs STL and driving the final nails in the coffin for STL hopes of making the post-season. Next year? Different story, new team.

^^ season series win isn’t clinched yet, need to wait another 2 weeks.

Beat the Streak: Michael Young (success)
Survivor: Mets (success)
Home run: Carlos Gonzalez (0 home runs)

So with the last game going final, we have just 27 people left in contention for $10,000.

The reset rate today was a modest 25.00%.

And barring extra games after Oct 3rd, only 5 remaining in Survivor that can tie/beat that game’s leader.

Where the heck is Dave’s post?
