Beat the Streak Report: Tuesday, May 24
The future is an amazing time because you can do anything from anywhere.
And ohbytheway: the future is now.
You can order Starbucks from your iPhone while sitting in a Wi-Fi-equipped blimp, or buy a Wi-Fi-equipped blimp from your iPad while sitting in a Starbucks. Can you buy an iPod touch while sitting in a blimp that’s sitting in a Starbucks? The possibility cannot be ruled out.
Soon, Time will just be a tablet magazine and robot players will blast baseballs into space and you’ll be able to submit Beat the Streak picks through nano-transmitters in your mind. It’s called “technology.”
But until those are invented — and we are hard at work — the next best thing is submitting BTS picks from your mobile device.
Introducing: Beat the Streak for iPhone and iPod touch.
The same Streak game you know and love is now fully playable on the go. Download the free app to make your daily selection by checking our Top Picks or browsing through the day’s games. Analyze matchups, check your results and view your history, all from your mobile device.
Get the app now. We’ll let you know when the nano-transmitter thing is ready.

Wow it looks like everyone is either asleep or on vacation today. Well I’m wide enough awake to see that Josh Hamilton has given me a 1st inning hit to bring me up to 5! Welcome back Hamilton! 🙂
I also got a first-inning hit, from David Ortiz, to get me up to nine.
I took hamilton too.
No stats for today as when I went to pull the data I got an error that said permission declined.
I’m really Glad that Hamilton is back, otherwise I would have taken Braun who I had originally picked. He went 0 for 2 and got ejected after his 2nd AB/out. The rumor is that he threw his helmet down after being called out on a very close call.
