Beat the Streak Report: Wednesday, June 22

Yesterday was a throwback Tuesday in Streakland, with ageless wonder Bobby Abreu leading the hit parade for 11.5 percent of all selectors.

We wonder where all you guys came up with that idea? What’s that old saying — even a blind MLBlog sometimes finds an Angels DH? Pretty sure that’s how it goes.

Anyway, Pauly Konks and Adrian Gonzalez also converted last night, combining to push an additional 18.6 percent of Streakers 24 hours closer to a 10 percent down payment on the $56 million house of their dreams.

Wednesday’s picks are below, please enjoy them responsibly. Nobody says you have to go and take Justin Upton today — hey, it’s your Streak on the line — but just remember that the Report is on a little bit of a (one-day) roll.

Highest “No Selection” :P pg# 2 with streak of 20 back to zero.

The damn leader moved on yet again. Tomorrow is massacre day as there are only 5 games on the schedule and it will be a very tough day.

Guerrero pinch hit again and went O fer again. I’m very lucky about last Friday’s pinch hit hit since he has had 3 pinch hit O fers since.

I won’t have to worry about tomorrow unless I get my hit today. 1 more AB minimum.

Rain shortened game. Tomorrow is no worry for me now.
