It was the end of an era in the BTS world, as Brian Kaufman saw his 38-game hit streak come to an end.
The BTS leader tabbed Ryan Braun to continue his lengthy run, but the Brewers left fielder managed just a walk in three plate appearances. Congratulations to Brian, whose 38-game streak would tie Jimmy Rollins for the eighth-longest mark of all-time if it played out on Major League baseball fields.
That leaves a pair of 31-game streak holders at the top of the BTS chart. Both of the new leaders choose Chipper Jones — who singled in two official plate appearances — as their day’s pick, as did three other members of the BTS Top 10.

Todd Helton was another popular pick among the BTS leaders, and he came through with a 1-for-3 showing to keep five streaks of at least 24 games alive.
