Current leader waw_3card pushed his streak to 29 games thanks to a 2-for-3 night from hot-hitting Derek Jeter. ace21dlr and dlmead8 stayed close behind, at 28 games, with their respective picks of Ichiro Suzuki (1-for-4) and Hanley Ramirez (3-for-5). And somehow, all 14 contestants who entered the day tied for fourth place kept their streaks alive, and remain in the hunt at 27 games.

For a while, it seemed that BTS leaders Choteria and adnaz could do no wrong with their picks, but as Kansas once sang, “Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.” Choteria and adnaz both saw their lengthy runs come to an end this past weekend, their respective streaks of 36 and 34 games standing as the top BTS marks of the 2009 season.
