ichiroBTS2.jpgWith bassman out of the running, new BTS leader eduneversaydie leaped into the top spot this past weekend, thanks to the performance of Ichiro Suzuki. The Mariners leadoff man went 2-for-6 in Seattle’s 11-8 loss to Minnesota yesterday, extending eduneversaydie’s streak to 35 games.

BTS leader eduneversaydie wasn’t the only one benefiting from Ichiro’s two-hit performance. Four other Top 10 competitors — bruinscup72, kehsiao, scasmflop and hinnami — picked Ichiro to stay hot on eduneversaydie’s trail.

A day off for Magglio Ordonez kept jpsteeleaz69 and knightbomb at second and third place, respectively, while smithdog52 moved into a tie for third at 30 games, thanks to a 2-for-4 showing from Miguel Tejada.
