Yesterday’s results

It was a rocky day at the front of the BTS pack, as three of the Top 5 contestants saw their streaks snapped due to quiet days from Marlon Byrd (0-for-3), Ryan Braun (0-for-2) and Ian Kinsler (0-for-4).

But redlandsrick was able to steer clear of the 0-for bug, getting just enough from Michael Young (1-for-4) to take over sole possession of first place at 28 games. Choterita and adnaz both scored a winner by tabbing Ichiro Suzuki (1-for-5), leaving them in second and third place with their respective streaks of 27 and 25 games.

Yesterday’s Top 5 most selected players

1. Ryan Braun (MIL): 5.9%, 0-for-2
2. Ryan Zimmerman (WSH): 5.6%, 1-for-3
3. Albert Pujols (STL): 4.8%, 1-for-4
4. Ian Kinsler (TEX): 4.8%, 0-for-4
5. Alfonso Soriano (CHC): 3.6%, 1-for-4

A guy tied for 6th picked Nyjer Morgan yesterday? Wow no wonder I can’t get a streak going. Just don’t have that baseball knowledge.

Don’t laugh Nijer Morgan has been pretty consistent all year. He also has good speed and has the capability of stealing 40-50 bases a year. He will be one of the top hitters in the National League in the years to come.
