Yesterday’s results

One day after becoming just the 10th contestant of the season to reach 35 games, momfannie saw her BTS run come to an end when Cincinnati’s Joey Votto was ejected for arguing with the home-plate umpire after striking out in his first at-bat.

While momfannie no doubt also has a few choice words for that umpire, new leader rbgoulet1 is likely thinking only pleasant thoughts after Ichiro’s 3-for-5 performance pushed his streak to 35 games.

matt1448, who entered the day in third place at 32 games, joined momfannie back at square one when his selection of Scott Podsednik resulted in a 0-for-4 performance. That enabled Roscoe1333, who tabbed Albert Pujols (1-for-4), to slide into a tie for third place with bigshowmarko, who held steady at 29 games with Todd Helton given the day off.

Yesterday’s Top 5 most selected players

1. Ichiro Suzuki (SEA): 8.1%, 3-for-5
2. Chone Figgins (LAA): 5.6%, 1-for-5
3. Albert Pujols (STL): 5.5%, 1-for-4
4. Robinson Cano (NYY): 5.3%, 2-for-3
5. Dustin Pedroia (BOS): 5.3%, 2-for-4

Is there anywhere I can report my streak not being updated? Juan Rivera got 2 hits last night including a home run, but my streak doesn’t reflect that.

MY HR guy from Monday was Reynolds of AZ. This was not updated promptly. Wait unit 6am of the next day before being concerned. I can’t even imagine the amount of info this site crunches and updates each day.

Thought – If a baseball hitting streak can extend from one season to another, this should be a consideration for longer streaks (say 20 plus games) to extend to the next season. I noticed that a few years ago a guys streak was at 37 or so and the season ended and so did his streak.
    Does not seem fair.
