Yesterday’s results

The end of the regular season isn’t far off, but that hasn’t stopped BTS contestants from attempting to string together the longest streaks they possibly can.

Top dog enronshorttrader is up to 37 games following a 1-for-4 performance from Hanley Ramirez. He’s trailed by GBaby, who went with the batting leader in the other league, Joe Mauer, and received a 3-for-3 day to move up to 34 games.

beashane and mcdonald6 both selected Ramirez to remain in a tie for third, at 32 games, and ch2fancbs held steady at 30 games as his pick, Alfonso Soriano, is out with injury.

Yesterday’s Top 5 most selected players

Tuesday 9/15……….
Blog is updated – Hail to “The King!”
Guys – I’ve got a sinking feeling about Carmona v. Mauer/Kubel.
I’m going with Ichirio v. Fredy Garcia WSOX
Alfonso Soriano is having knee surgery and has been removed as a choice from Cubs team. The king does read the blog!
Good Luck today to all!

Soriano being removed has nothing to do with the blog. He was finally put on the DL today by the Cubs. I guess there is no reason for the teams to hurry anymore with the expanded roster.

I actually have a bigger sinking feeling with Ichie today. Have you looked at Garcia’s #s against lefties? Those are pretty good #s. And Ichie’s performance over last week leaves me wondering.

I also thought about Mauer too but how many more terrible starts can Carmona make? He was a Cy Young winner not while back.

Still searching but its getting tougher to pick everyday now. It was so much easier like a month ago. I guess its all over anyway.

Garcia is .167 v. Lefties this year!
Back to the drawing board!
He is also a wild card as this is his 3rd start this year and is looking to impress WSOX as his goal is the 5th spot in the rotation in 2010.

Got lucky today with Victorino’s infield single in the 7th!
Who looks good on Wed. — Game closes early tomorrow.

Wed 9/16
Derrek Lee CUBS remains hot, he just crushed a double as I’m watching on TV. 2 -2 with a walk so far on Tues Nite.
Derek Jeter hitting .410 v. Lefties v. Tallet TOR gives up hits and ERA in Sept 6.86
Ichirio v. Floyd of WSOX – Ichirio .353 v. Righties but Floyd .232 v. lefties
Any other suggestions?
