Beat the Streak Report: Thursday, July 3

Wednesday’s results

Beat the Streak leader spooky93
continued to ride the bat of Ichiro Suzuki, who went 3-for-3 against
the Blue Jays. The BTS leader has made Ichiro his go-to-guy, picking
the Seattle center fielder more times (11) than any other player.
spooky93 enters Thursday’s action just 10 games shy of the $1,000,000
grand prize.

ichiro275.jpgThe
rest of the Top 5 also stayed alive thanks to a 25-run rumble between
the Yankees and the Rangers. Capitalizing on the Bronx Bombers’ 18-run
barrage was dalmeetz048 (Derek Jeter), mday1018 (A-Rod) and tooley.3
(Johnny Damon). slumley rounded out the Top 5 by receiving a 1-for-4
effort from Texas second baseman Ian Kinsler.

For the second
straight day, fans picked A-Rod more than any other player. The slugger
turned in a 2-for-3 effort and drilled his 17th long ball of the year.
Albert Pujols was the fourth-most picked player, but he was held
hitless in five at-bats against Pedro Martinez and the Mets bullpen.

I HAD Carlos Guillen

But I found a better guy!

It’s so obvious.

YEAH BUT IN LIFE OBVIOUS HAS A WAY OF NOT WORKING OUT. BESIDES POLANCO, THERE WERE A HANDFUL OF GOOD PICKS IF YOU LOOK AROUND.

Ah grasshopper ,the wiseman sees the way. Continue to ride the orient express, or eat a free lunch at Silva’s restaurant in Seattle, and finally you may want to take the path for a walk in the clouds. The answer is there grasshopper so choose wisely.

Who’d you guys pick today? I picked Matt Holliday. Please share any opinions you have about my pick, thanks.

YES, SENSAI. SHOULD HE HAVE SASHIMI FOR DINNER TODAY. WILL DETROIT MADE FORD SUV RUN MY PRIUS OVER AND CRUSH IT LIKE A SHEET OF NORI?

ATKINS IS MUCH BETTER PICK THAN HOLLIDAY W/N COLORADO BUT MILLER HAS BEEN PITCHING WELL. BUT AT COL, BALLS FLY AND ATKINS RAPS LEFTIES THERE. BUT THERE IS A BOY IN FL WHO LIKES LEFTIES TOO.

Rock n Roll 93!! I haven’t even been able to pick my nose!!

I’m such a moron;

that now I can’t even count!!

Four + two is……5??

i have guillen right now, but am wavering a bit because hse only hitting 250 in the last ten games

I picked Hanley Ramirez, but I gotta hope he doesn’t get a hit cause Spooky picked him too.

I WENT WITH CANTO. I THINK ITS A BETTER PICK THAN RAMIREZ. LIKELY BOTH WILL GET HIT GIVEN SPOOKY93′S PICKING PROWESS. CANTU BATS .343 AGAINST LEFTIES AWAY FROM HOME PLUS HIS OUTSTANDING #S AGAINST REDMAN. I HOPE CANTU STEALS ALL OF RAMIREZ’S THUNDER TONIGHT.

same here mreck13, now i can’t be anal about hanleys’ at bats and hope he doesn’t get a hit.

Cantu is kind of cold right now. I think his two hits yesterday broke an 0-13 or something like that.
