BTS leader soxwhite24 extended his streak to 31 games on the strength of Chase Utley’s 1-for-3 night against the Nationals. Utley delivered a first-inning single off Washington starter Tim Redding to stretch his own hitting streak to six games.

magglioBTSsucks.jpgThe lone casualty of yesterday’s Top 5 was competitor kbharvey, who entered the day tied for fifth-place with a 25-game streak. kbharvey’s streak was snapped when Magglio Ordonez struck out in an eighth-inning pinch-hit appearance during Detroit’s loss to the Indians.

For the second straight day, each of the Top 5 most-picked players delivered at least one hit. Albert Pujols, who was chosen by a staggering 14.8% of BTS competitors, led the way with a 1-for-4 effort against Mike Hampton and the Atlanta ‘pen.
