Yesterday’s results

The good times continued for GBaby, who pushed his BTS-leading streak to 40 games thanks to a 2-for-4 night from Albert Pujols. It marked the ninth time this season a contestant reached that plateau.

Behind GBaby in the standings, larrythemailman1 moved up to 35 games on the strength of Joey Votto’s 3-for-4 performance, while stikid610 and struck00 both went with Pujols to wind up at 33 games.

Chone Figgins came through with a 3-for-5 night to bump andy0816’s streak up to 29 games, and hacklfam kept pace with a 1-for-3 effort from Ryan Braun.

Can larrythemailman1 seems like a “First Class Guy” can he “deliver” the streak to beat Tanner Nielsen?
Rain, sleet or snow can not stop the US Mail!
    Go larrythemailman1!!!!!!
This was a tough decsion for a me the Cub fan.
I’m locked in on Felipe Lopez of MIL. BREWERS plays CUBS
tonight and Cubs Derrek Lee is on an absolute tear. HR and two doubles last night. I’m tempted to switch my pick.
Then I remember the recent time when I switched to Johnny Damon, a “sure hit” and he had an 0-fer and I lost a nice 12 game streak. What to do, What to do, What to do?
Reminder – If you are in Milwaukee and going to the game tonight and sitting in the OF – bring your glove – DLEE, ARAMIS RAMIRIZ, CECIL FIELDER, RYAN BRAUN COULD ALL GO DEEP TONIGHT.
He did it again last night! hammanm picks Sin Soo Choo v. tought TIGER moundsman Edwin Jackson and he goes 3 – 4. A great read into the BTS game.

hey everyone i was just wondering for me to win i would have to have more hits total than tanner nielsen… is there any way to tell how many hits he accumulated over his streak… and good luck to gbaby, larrythemailman1, struck00

Tanner Nielsen had 77 hits during his 45-game run.

I would not let that affect your selection process, because you might end up changing your pick because of that and end up snapping it prematurely.

I would only start picking that way maybe on the last day or two of the season, since it is entirely possible that a tiebreaker game might have to be played and that would give you an extra day to beat him outright.

Also, would you like to join our team of players that are going to develop a plan for 2010 during this upcoming offseason?

Just leave the e-mail address you want us to contact you at, if interested?

    Good Luck!!!

Well remember if you get to 45, you have to get 12 more hits regardless, which already brings you to 68, so you need to pick up 9 extra hits along the way to tie and 10 more to win; if you had had only needed 6 hits or 1 extra every other day, I think it would have been much more manageable.

Just gotta hope for that tiebreaker or makeup of a rainout game!
