Just got back and checked my results from the weekend. Looks like I did pretty poor with 3 ofers in the last 4 days. Sorry if anyone followed my lead and picked along with me.

hammanm – When you have o-fers, it’s good to get them all at once. I’m going with Ellsbury tonight.
I can not believe how the Pirates have manhandled the Dodgers the past few days.

The Kings “September Challenge” of putting together a 30 game streak to win 2 tickets to an opening day game in 2010 (Value $100) seems to have missed it’s mark. Looks like fewer that 10 bts players are eligibe to win. It would be good publicity for the game if the bar was set lower next year and more players could win. The prize is minimal, would not hurt to a bunch of winners. Say a 15 or 20 game streak for next year.

With 6 guaranteed days left in the season and maybe a potential for 2 days worth of tiebreakers, should there be a 3-way tie for the NL Wild Card, the following people still have a chance to hit 30 games:

    1) reaching 30 by Sunday: 3
    2) reaching 30 by Monday (if necessary): 0 additional
    3) reaching 30 by Tuesday (if necessary): 1 additional

Also, no one in Survivor can pass the leader, so the only excitement left for the regular season is for Beat the Streak: Home Run Edition.

Here, a ******** 1,000 players, including myself can tie the leader by Sunday and pass him if there is 1 game playoff.

I had Ben Zobrist for Monday to make a 1-game HR streak and the leader is at 7 games.

Is anyone else still playing the HR edition here?

    Tuesday 9/29
Going with Victor Martinez today in bts.
HR BTS – I had David Ortiz last night and tonight I’m going with Youklis. Boston at home and wind is blowing out a ******** 17 mph SSW toward center field.
Check out this web site for game day weather conditions.
Especially impt for wind with HR BTS.
When do you think the playoff bts will be posted? Does the King wait until all teams are finalized?

The Kings court jester, ooops, I mean censor blocked out the word ******** 17 mph SSW toward center field again. The jester could be sensititve to this word as maybe he is Italian?
